|  We wanted a new house but couldn’t afford to tear down our old house. Buck (President of BWVS Construction) worked with us through several design reiterations until we had a floor plan that utilized about 90% of our old house, and gave us a new kitchen, a new master suite, a formal living room and a new laundry as well as revamping the entire house. The remarkable thing was when it was all done everyone thought the whole house was brand new. The quality of Buck’s workmanship made the integration of the old and the new seamless. Buck’s patience and assistance in helping us through the construction was invaluable. Buck was realistic about the cost and he helped us to find ways to lower the cost and still get a high quality result.
|  Our property has a beautiful view of Edgewood Park out the back, but the front of the lot is only 54 feet wide. Buck Hallen, BWVS Construction, drafted the original ideas and then worked with architect, draftsman, and engineers to develop a set of plans for our new home. We were told that it could take at least a year and many attempts to get through design review, and we added that into the timeline. We got through the first time. Buck had met with the County Planning Department many times prior to design review while developing the plans to ensure we would fly through the process and we did. The new house takes full advantage of the wonderful views from the back of the property while minimizing the constraint of the narrow front.
